It is possible to stay in Provence and discover the real Provence with its particularities. To do it, you don’t need to pay for entrances, car-parks or access to the hiking paths. In this purpose we suggest you few ideas of tours. (there are much more, ask me at your arrival) :
- a guided tour on jeanne-marie ‘s ethnobotanical path to discover the story of the plants, and how have been built the landscape by the ancestors of frédéric. (on appointment at your arrival).
- The Nesque Valley and surroundings of Sault.
- the occers from Mormoiron, Bedoin and Flassan (landscapes which remain Indiana Jones)
- a romantic evenening in Fontaine de Vaucluse which is really better at night. At this time we feel better the atmosphere of the place where Petrarque fall in love with Laure. (car-parks are free at night, no crowd and many possibilities to have diner or just an ice-cream).
- the prehistoric site of Rocalinaud in Beaumes de Venise and the turkish cave in Dentelles of Montmirail if you like the adventure.
- if you feel like laying on the beach under the sun, swiming, you will appreciate the lake of Mormoiron (20 minutes)
- you will find many fruits, vegetables, goat cheeses, olives on the different markets : monday: St Didier ; tuesday: Vaison la Romaine ; thursday: Orange ; friday: Carpentras ; saturday: Pernes les Fontaines.
- Luberon is not only an island for milliardaires, go and visit the villages of St Saturnin d’Apt, Goult, Mirabeau...they have kept their authenticity without asking you money for everything.
- Thanks to a path with signs, walk in Jean-Henri FABRE footsteeps, the famous botanist and enthomologist and discover the Mont-Ventoux.
- to discover Avignon, park your car in Barthelasse island, take the small boat which arrives in front of Popes' palace. (it is free).

On l'appelle aussi tarte tatin.
je la prépare aussi bien avec des pommes,qu'avec des mangues, des pêches, des poires ou de l'ananas suivant la saison.(dans ce cas là, il faut adapter la proportion liquide/sucre)

il faut :
un plat à tarte rond de 28 cm antiadhérant
80 gr de sucre cristallisé
1 sachet de sucre cristallisé
40 gr de beurre découpé en lamelles fines et 20 gr
6 pommes ou autres fruits
une pâte feuilletée

On commence par beurrer le moule avec les 20 gr de beurre, on sopoudre 60 gr de sucre de façon régulière au fond du moule, on disperse les lamelles de beurre. On épluche les fruits après les avoir coupés en quatre puis on les dispose harmonieusement sur le moule, partie arrondie contre la paroi du moule, on serre bien car ça diminue à la cuisson. ou sopoudre les 20 gr de sucre restant puis on fait cuire à feu moyen sur la plaque de cuisson en couvrant durant environ 1/4 d'heure puis 5 mn en enlevant le couvercle pour que ça caramélise légèrement. On laisse refroidir un peu, on dispose la pâte feuilletée piquée à la fourchette sur les fruits cuits en rabattant ce qui dépasse par dessus, puis on sopoudre de sucre vanillé. on met au four à 220° durant environ 15 à 20 mn. on sort du four dès que c'est doré à point.
attention, il faut la démouler tout de suite à chaud !
variante : on peut aromatiser avec quelques calices de lavande vraie, de la cannelle ou même du romarin. vous verrez, on en tombe à la renverse !!!
